$190*

Duration

10 Weeks*

Draw - Paint - Create!

Through exposure to and study of the Elements and Principles of Art, our Fundamentals classes give young artists the essential tools to create, explore, and produce beautiful artwork that they can be proud of. These students will use a variety of media to create many exciting, hands-on projects, developing their individuality, independence, and self-expression in the process. The projects and artworks draw inspiration from History, Art History, Geography, Global Cultures, Literature and more, giving our young artists important art context, so they can learn while creating!

2024 Art Fundamentals classes will be focusing on "Art through the Ages", how art developed throughout history.

Focus points for students aged 5-7 years:
  • Learning how to use art tools effectively

  • Practising physical and observational skills

  • Working on understanding of shape, line, colour, pattern, and texture

  • Following directions using verbal and visual cues

*Lessons and fees are subject to the NZ school terms and may vary depending on term length and public holidays

Lesson fees include all materials plus participation in the Art Exhibition once a year.
